Description:
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This is a crucial role to support financial operations and enabling the smooth functioning of the business.KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
All paperwork, transactions and data processing.
Process all transactions, manage and store all paperwork in a timely manner. Maintain and organize financial files and documentation for easy access and reference.Customer Function
Prepare all invoicing, credit notes and statements for approval and submission to customers Follow up all outstanding amounts. Prepare and manage debtors age analysis.Suppliers Function
Manage all purchase orders, approval process, matching and clearing. Follow up on supplier invoices and authorisation Prepare supplier reconciliation monthly Prepare payment schedules for weekly cash management meetings Prepare monthly payments for the group Distribute proof of paymentsMonth end reporting within the timeframe
Prepare all month end reconciliations for month end reporting. Monthly Management Accounts are completed by the 10th of each month.Bank Processing
Daily bank balance obtained and updating banking schedule. Prepare and post weekly transactions. Prepare weekly reconciliations. Prepare month end reconciliation for sign off and month end fileGeneral Duties
Assist with the preparation of financial statement, including balance sheets and income statements, on a regular basis. Conduct regular audits of financial transactions and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision making. Stay updated on industry best practices, financial regulations, and software tools. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Diploma or equivalent in accounting, or related field
Experience:
A minimum of 4 years experience in a similar position. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practises. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Skills:
