Description:
As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the company's portfolio of medical products to healthcare professionals, with a strong focus on establishing and nurturing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key practises in your region.Using a scientifically informed approach, you will educate and engage KOLs and other healthcare stakeholders to build awareness and advocacy, ultimately driving sales performance, product recommendations, and prescription rates.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers. Act as the primary point of contact, fostering partnerships that drive product recommendation and enhance brand reputation.
Scientific Product Promotion: Utilize a scientific, evidence-based approach to educate healthcare professionals on product benefits, mechanisms of action, and clinical applications. Ensure alignment with regulatory and ethical standards while delivering clear, accurate, and compelling product information.
HCP Engagement Activities: Oversee end-to-end management of HCP (Healthcare Professional) engagement activities, including round table discussions and CMEs, ensuring alignment with regulatory and ethical guidelines. Attend key medical congresses and disseminate relevant medical and brand-related materials. Ensure clear direction, and co-ordination of HCP Engagement Specialists.
Strategic Territory Management: Implement a strategic plan to target key accounts, manage assigned territories effectively, and maximize reach and impact. Conduct regular visits, presentations, and follow-ups with healthcare professionals to meet or exceed sales objectives.
Market Insight and Analysis: Gather and analyse market intelligence, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities, improve messaging, and refine sales strategies. Provide insights to the marketing and medical teams to ensure offerings meet market needs.
Performance Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on performance metrics, including sales targets, engagement activities, and market feedback. Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments to strategies and activities.
Mentoring and leadership: Provide leadership and mentoring to HCP Engagement Specialists.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and medical teams to develop targeted marketing and education materials. Contribute to product launches, promotional campaigns, and other initiatives designed to increase awareness and product adoption.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or similar
Minimum of 2 - 5 years pharmaceutical sale
