Main Purpose of the position:

As a representative of the Pressure Filter Specialists brand, the Sales Representative is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while identifying opportunities to upsell products and services.A positive attitude and a friendly, customer-focused approach are essential.

Strong business ethics are crucial, along with the ability to handle occasional customer concerns with professionalism and composure, ensuring the brand’s reputation remains intact.

Duties and Responsibility:

· Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products and services.

· Identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert them into sales.

· Engage with both new and existing customers to assess and address their needs.

· Conduct cold calls to identify and connect with prospective clients.

· Maintain a structured weekly schedule for in-person customer visits, focusing on service, sales, and relationship building.

· Highlight product features and benefits to demonstrate how they address customer challenges.

· Keep client-specific price lists up to date and review them quarterly.

· Maintain accurate contact lists and proactively follow up to strengthen customer relationships.

· Effectively present products and services to customers.

· Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and objectives.

· Gather customer feedback and implement improvements based on their insights.

· Track and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies.

· Ensure all sales administration tasks and electronic records are updated regularly.

· Process purchase orders (POs) daily and complete necessary administrative tasks.

· Evaluate market potential and recommend client interactions to drive service and sales opportunities.

· Address and resolve customer concerns professionally before finalizing sales.

· Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers.

· Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

· Prepare and present detailed sales reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to management.

· Adhere to established client management processes for both new and existing customers.

· Monitor and track service and sales management activities for ongoing improvement.

· Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements.

Requirements:

· Matric, Sales qualification will be beneficial

· Computer Skills, MS Office

· Good networking and people skills.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to offer excellent customer service skills.

· Ability to manage time efficiently.

· Ability to build a professional network.

· Active listening skills.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them.

· Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs as per the client’s specifications.

· Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships, and network

· Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a sale

· Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers

· Physical endurance, as Sales Representatives may need to be on their feet for long hours, spend a lot of time traveling between locations and carry heavy products
