Calling all Assistant Plant Managers! Join a wastewater management team in the Western Cape!
Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with legal, licensing, and contractual obligations through monitoring, optimisation, and control of processes. This involves optimal staff and resource utilisation within the budget, adherence to ISO Standards, Green Drop systems, OHS Act, and labour laws, and regular inspections to gauge functionality and performance. Further responsibilities include analysing performance data, managing maintenance in coordination with relevant teams, preparing operational reports, and seeking opportunities for operational improvements. The role also demands proactive maintenance planning, incident reporting, and leadership in training and disciplinary actions to maintain efficient, safe plant operations.
Requirements:
Job Requirements:
· Degree / Diploma in Chemical Engineering
· DWS certification or eligible to register is a key requirement
· 8 years’ experience in wastewater treatment
· 4 years’ supervisory / management level experience
