Are you a strategic and results-driven finance professional with a passion for debt management? My client is looking for an experienced Head of Debtors to lead their accounts receivable function, ensuring efficient cash flow management and strong debtor controls.This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the cashbook , ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
- Lead reconciliations , ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved.
- Drive debt collection strategies, ensuring timely payments and minimising overdue accounts.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports , providing insights into debtor performance and collections.
- Implement and maintain best practices for credit control and risk management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise debtor processes and enhance financial efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or finance related.
- Proven experience in a senior debtors/accounts receivable role.
- Strong understanding of cash management, reconciliations, and debt recovery.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and debtor management systems.
