Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, mechanical systems, and electrical systems within the facility.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults, including motors, drives, control systems, and other industrial machinery.
- Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine checks and inspections on electrical installations, systems, and machinery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Complete wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including control panels, circuit breakers, and motor control systems.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for electrical installations and repairs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including work performed, parts used, and any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation of all electrical work, including installation diagrams, circuit diagrams, and maintenance records.
- Support the training and mentoring of junior maintenance staff and apprentices.
- Participate in emergency breakdowns and repairs, often after-hours, as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
- Work closely with other team members, contractors, and supervisors to meet production and maintenance goals.

- Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of automation systems, PLCs, and motor control systems is highly advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
