We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Finance Department. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial operations, with a strong focus on IFRS 17 implementation and Solvency Management Assessment. The ideal candidate will have an audit background and a keen eye for process improvement. Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance & Compliance Develop and implement QA policies, conduct audits on financial reporting, underwriting, and claims processes.
IFRS 17 Implementation Oversee compliance, collaborate with finance and actuarial teams, and ensure accurate reporting.
Solvency Management Monitor financial stability, integrate risk management principles, and support regulatory compliance.
Process Improvement Identify gaps, recommend enhancements, and drive best practices in financial reporting.
T eam Leadership Mentor and manage a team of Accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with underwriting, claims, and compliance teams, prepare reports for senior management, and liaise with external auditors.
CA (SA) qualification is essential.
Minimum 2 years of experience in an audit environment (Assistant Manager or similar), ideally within the short-term insurance sector.
Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency Management Assessment frameworks.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
