Wholesale Credit Analyst

A leading company is seeking a Wholesale Credit Analyst to join their dynamic team based in Kempton Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the wholesale credit process, assessing risk, and providing sound financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires 3 years of credit analysis experience with 6 months to 1 year of management experience.
Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze wholesale credit applications and provide recommendations.
• Conduct credit risk assessments on customers and suppliers.
• Monitor credit performance and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage a small team of junior analysts, providing guidance and training.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve credit queries.
• Prepare credit reports and presentations for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory credit risk guidelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit analysis .
• 6 months to 1 year management or supervisory experience .
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of credit risk principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
