Our client in Midrand is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, industry standards such as ISO 9001, and proficiency in quality assurance software is essential. The role requires excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple brands. REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • At least 5 + years’ experience
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001)
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision making and analytical skills
  • A results-driven approach and a keen eye for detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in quality assurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working under pressure and deadline driven
  • Ability to multi-task across many brands

DUTIES:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure our products and development processes meet the highest standard of quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with our supplier’s production team to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Visit supplier sites and assist operations by tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as CSR, environmental, and health and safety performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, errors and corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality data and generate reports for management.
  • Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Train warehouse staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Implementing appropriate Financial Controls to ensure that spend is appropriately managed and cost saving initiatives identified and initiated where appropriate.
  • Conduct inspections on products received.
  • Develop or update procedures for capture, investigation, and documentation of product complaints.
HOURS:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
