Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and objectives. Regularly conduct both in-person and virtual meetings to ensure continued alignment.
  • Account Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts to meet sales targets and boost client satisfaction.
  • Sales Growth: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts, maximizing revenue and exploring cross-sell potential.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective service delivery for clients.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on account performance, providing actionable insights to both clients and internal teams.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract discussions to secure favorable terms that align with company goals.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor actions, and market changes to shape strategic account plans.
  • Target Achievement: Meet sales targets related to new business, client retention, and ICT sales.
  • Reporting: Accurately forecast sales pipelines and provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Adherence to Processes: Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and documentation standards for client interactions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Matric (A diploma or degree is a plus!)
  • Proven experience in an Account Manager or similar role within the Telecommunications industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing mobile voice, data, and ICT solutions to businesses.
  • A strong track record of exceeding B2B sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for strategic decision-making.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
