A specialised manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their Gauteng team!
This role is essential in safeguarding the company's assets through meticulous management of financial and accounting operations, including payroll, timekeeping, and adherence to GAAP and company policies. Your main tasks will involve customer payment follow-ups, payroll transaction management, daily cash flow monitoring, and preparation of financial statements up to the trial balance. Accounting professionals with a proactive approach, strong reconciliation skills, and the capability to handle various accounting projects are highly valued!
Requirements:
Candidates should have a degree in Accounting or similar, backed up by 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong grasp of MS Excel and Pastel Evolution. This position requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work extended hours as needed!
