Retail Manager – Curate Exceptional Experiences in High-End Décor & Gifting

Location: Hyde Park, Sandton | Start Date: April 2025 | Competitive Salary & Incentives

Are you passionate about luxury retail and creating unforgettable shopping experiences? Do you have a flair for high-end home décor and gifting products? We're looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join our team and take charge of our upscale store in Hyde Park, Sandton.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage a premier lifestyle store, where you’ll lead by example, build relationships with loyal clientele, and oversee the store's success through high-quality service, stunning displays, and top-tier products.

Requirements:

  • Leadership & Development: Guide and mentor a small team of talented staff, providing training, setting goals, and cultivating a positive work environment focused on excellence.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure every customer receives exceptional service, from expert product knowledge to personalized recommendations. Handle queries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Product Mastery: Stay informed on the latest trends in home décor and gifting, and share that knowledge with both the team and customers, ensuring a consistently high level of product expertise.
  • Visual Merchandising: Lead the creation of sophisticated in-store displays that showcase our curated range of luxury products, keeping the store visually appealing and aligned with seasonal trends.
  • Sales & Operational Efficiency: Drive store sales by implementing effective strategies, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks. Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a streamlined, efficient store environment.
  • Retail Management Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role, ideally in the luxury décor, gifting, or lifestyle products industry. Experience in interior design or premium retail is a plus.
  • Proven Leadership: A natural leader who can inspire and motivate a team, providing clear direction and support while ensuring performance excellence.
  • Sales-Driven: A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, with the ability to drive revenue through customer-focused strategies.
  • Customer-Centric: Passion for delivering an exceptional, high-end shopping experience in every interaction.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with retail management software, MS Office, and POS systems.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Personal Presentation: Impeccably presented with excellent communication skills, representing the luxury brand with professionalism.
