  1. Financial Management:
  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow).
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
  • Recommend financial adjustments to align with company goals.
Accounts Management:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices.
  • Supervise payroll and ensure compliance with tax and statutory obligations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations of accounts and bank statements.
Tax and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, preparing tax filings, and liaising with tax authorities as necessary.
  • Prepare VAT returns and manage other tax-related filings.
  • Work closely with auditors during financial audits and provide requested documents.
Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct financial analysis and present findings to senior management.
  • Assist in financial decision-making by providing insights into cost management, profitability, and investment opportunities.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure financial stability.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants or junior finance staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
    • Familiarity with accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, etc.).
    • Excellent communication skills for reporting and presenting financial information.
    • Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Strong leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to team management.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
    • Proactive, with the ability to anticipate financial needs and challenges.
