Office Administrator - Temp Assignment (6 months)Our client based in the heart of George, experts in the field of sustainable plant production and soil health are looking for a strong, numerically minded and organized Office Administrator to join their dynamic team on a temp basis for 6 months.Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:General Office Administration:Handling of all office transactions, answering phones, taking messages, assisting where possible, drawing up quotes, answering emails, etc.Faxing and emails – as requiredManagement of office consumables and stationeryEnsure general housekeeping is maintained in the office (neat and tidy)Assisting walk in customersLogistics AdministrationProcessing of ordersArranging, coordinating and following up on orders and deliveriesOversee back-orders and expedite on receipt to clientsFinancial Administration:Management of Accounts ReceivableManagement of Accounts PayableLiaising with bookkeepers / auditors as and when requiredManagement of petty cash – balancing and reconciliationMaintaining books daily – updating General manager on any issues / problems, etc.Daily balancing of COD orders / deliveriesAssist with collection of any outstanding moniesDepot AdministrationInventory control and administrationCycle counts of fast-moving productsSupervision and liaison with the depot personnelOrdering of stock on GM’s approvalData-capturing of invoicesEnsure that the Depot is clean and tidy (H&S)MarketingAssisting with marketing activities including website, newsletters, social media, etc.Filing of product information, pricelists and upkeep of customer files as well as general administration and office rental, water / lights, etc.Arranging and coordinating of any functions / events, training or meeting sessions that may be requiredGeneral SupportSupport the General Manager with any tasks, requests / requirements dailySupport of the Agriculturist / field marketers Qualifications :- Matric coupled with financial and / or administrative certificate / diploma
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Fully computer literate – MS Office Suite (Word / Excel / Outlook /Explorer) and SAGE online
- Own reliable transport
- 3 -4 years in a similar role
