The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Duties & Responsibilities
Safely drive and operate delivery vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations. Ensure all cargo is properly loaded, secured, and delivered in a timely manner Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery notes Adhere to delivery time lines and instructions on the trip sheet and report deviations on trip sheet Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a professional and courteous manner Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to management immediately Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 Valid Code 10 driver's license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit) Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record Fluent in English Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulation Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to lift and carry heavy items Strong attention to detail and safety Reliable and punctual Ability to work independently and as part of a team Please contact Gideon Southey
