Granite Plant Manager

Description:

Come and join the team at our fine-grain Black Granite (Dolerite) site, with its own distinct and captivating grain structure.

This person must be willing to relocate to the Eastern Cape!

Some key roles:

• Managing cutting and polishing of raw material to finished product.
• 5-10 years’ experience in position.
• Knowledge of granite and slab industry.
• Knowledge of tombstone industry advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Granite Cutter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating cutting and polishing tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
• Wiling to relocate

• Managing Cutting And Polishing Finished Products: 5 to 6 years
• Granite Or Slab Cutter: 5 to 6 years
• Interpret Technical Drawings And Measurements: 5 to 6 years

• Specialized training in mining technology, mechanical or electrical engineering, and related fields
• Occupational qualifications at NQF Level 1 or 2, then Miner at NQF Level 3, and so on

Minimum Education:

1. Matric + 5 - 10 years experience in a granite or slab industry
2. Able to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements

Training

• Specialized training in mining technology, mechanical or electrical engineering, and related fields
• Occupational qualifications at NQF Level 1 or 2, then Miner at NQF Level 3, and so on

Willingness to relocate to Eastern Cape
