Job Opportunity: Project Manager – Solar Industry
Location: Cape Town | Employment Type: Full-Time
Hire Resolve is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the solar industry to lead and manage solar projects from start to finish fpr our client in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and seamless execution of solar installations. Collaboration with internal teams and clients is key to ensuring overall satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development phase alongside sales and engineering teams to assess potential projects.
- Oversee project planning and execution to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate project details within the project management system.
- Manage and coordinate both internal teams and subcontractors during installation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Identify project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage project documentation and conduct post-installation evaluations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in project management within the solar or renewable energy sector .
- Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems and installation processes.
- Exceptional leadership and team coordination skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both internal and client-facing.
- Valid driver’s license.
