Our client, a leading provider of trenching equipment and solutions, is looking for a Sales Engineer with a strong technical background and a passion for sales. This role requires someone who can combine engineering expertise with business development skills to drive sales, provide technical solutions, and support customers across various industries.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales of trenching equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and product recommendations to customers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals.
- Work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure client needs are met.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements:
- Technical qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred).
- Proven experience in sales of heavy machinery or trenching equipment.
- Strong technical understanding of trenching equipment, applications, and operational requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage sales pipelines effectively.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
