Minimum Requirements:Grade 12 BCom Accounting/Finance Degree (Articles preferred) At least 7 years of experience in a senior Finance position Agricultural or fruit industry experience preferred Experience with Forex transactions Ability to lead and manage the office Experience from the fruit industry
Duties and Responsibilities:
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage the company's annual budget and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, optimizing working capital and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations and investments. Forex: Manage foreign exchange transactions Financial Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal controls. Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, currency risk, and operational risk. Audit & Tax Management Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Fruit Export Specifics: Understand and manage the financial aspects unique to the fruit export industry, including seasonal cash flow fluctuations, price volatility, and logistical costs.
