Key Responsibilities:1. Cost Analysis & Reporting- Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying trends and areas for cost reduction.- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgets and forecasts.- Provide actionable recommendations on cost-saving initiatives.2. Inventory & Production Costing- Monitor and evaluate inventory costs, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.- Implement standard costing and ensure accurate product costing.- Support stock valuation and control processes.3. Budgeting & Forecasting- Assist in the preparation of cost budgets and forecasts.- Monitor and track cost performance against budgeted targets.4. Financial Control & Compliance- Ensure adherence to cost accounting standards and internal controls.- Support internal and external audits by providing cost-related data.- Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.5. Process Improvement & Efficiency- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reduction.- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to streamline cost management processes. Requirements:- Proven experience in cost accounting or similar financial roles.
- Strong knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with inventory management and production costing.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive process improvements.
