Location: Cape Town, southern suburbs
Salary: R 300 000 – R 360 000 per annum
Role Overview:
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Bank reconciliations and day to day processing
- Preparing and managing creditors and the full debtors function
- Supporting the financial accounting function
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- A BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Knowledge of financial legislation, accounting principles, and auditing standards.
- Experience in Value-Added Tax (VAT) requirements.
- Experience with the Xero Accounting Package is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SimplePay is a plus.
Experience Required:
- At least 2/3 years of experience in a similar role.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
- A willingness to learn and grow within the company.
