Description:
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Manager for a company that deals with heavy equipment in the Durban area (Newlands East). The successful candidate will have experience with safety regulations and certificates for operating heaving equipment. Requirements:- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- 2-3 Years in a warehouse role
- Familiarity with safety regulations and certifications for operating heavy equipment.
- Syspro Knowledge.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Warehouse Management
- Carry out all general warehouse management duties and procedures.
- Manage receipt and dispatch of equipment.
- Preparing of warehouse for stock take.
- Supervision of delivery and delivery staff.
- To follow-up on all customer complaints relating to delivery shortages/inaccuracies/damaged stock, etc. in order to maintain good customer relations.
- Ensuring the on-going maintenance and updating of the warehouse computer system in accordance with the agreed procedures/ standards.
- Ensuring that absenteeism, labour turnover, late-coming, overtime and the employment of casuals remain within acceptable limits at all times.
- To ensure that all staff wear the appropriate protective clothing and equipment in the warehouse.
