Description:
The above position is available in the Heritage Department. The purpose of the job is to set up sound and recording equipment and capture quality audio.
Responsibilities :
• To record and edit all audio-visual material • Ensure the safe keeping of A/V material database and archive • Maintenance of equipment. • Records video footage for exhibitions, events, documentaries and other applications. • Responsible for recording, mixing, and editing audio for various multimedia recording and live events. • Sets up and operates sound equipment, such as microphones and speakers, to capture and enhance audio quality. • Sets up and operates lighting equipment for various audio-visual productions, ensuring the desired mood and atmosphere.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements :
Diploma in Audio Visual technology or equivalent
Work Experience :
• Two years audio visual experience. • Filming experience • Audio visual experience • Knowledge of design and editing programmes • Knowledge of audio and visual programmes • Fluent in 3 official languages.
Required Skills, Competencies and Attributes :
• Video production (Shooting, directing and producing video content) • Visual storytelling to convey messages and objective through visual media. • Strong multitasking skills (ability to work on more than one brief at any given time) • Strong time management skills • Knowledge of audio equipment & techniques for audio capturing • Expertise in setting up and using studio/natural lighting to enhance video • Setup and understanding of all video equipment • Strong video editing skills
