Description:

Hire Resolve's client is looking for a highly accomplished and experienced Managing Director to lead their organization, located in Pretoria, Gauteng, into its next phase of growth. The Managing Director will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational efficiency, and financial performance of the company. This senior leadership role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and business acumen.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s long-term strategy, aligning it with market trends and growth opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all company operations, ensuring efficiency, best practices, and continuous process improvement.
  • Financial Performance: Drive revenue growth, manage costs, and optimize profitability, including budget development and financial analysis.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team while fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, board members, customers, and key partners.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach and revenue streams.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure sustainable business operations and financial stability.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure full compliance with all laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Reporting & Communication: Present company performance reports to the board and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a senior management role, with a proven track record of business growth.
  • Strong strategic planning and financial management expertise.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in the business solutions industry is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
