Accountant – Multi-Site Exposure & Financial Reporting

Description:

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 3 to 5 years of experience in financial management and reporting. This role, based in Centurion, offers a dynamic environment where the successful candidate will engage in management accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis, while also traveling to various sites and mines to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse management accounts to support decision-making.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure financial accuracy.
• Compile monthly and quarterly financial statements in line with reporting standards.
• Conduct and oversee stock counts , ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal controls .
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.
• Utilise the Sage ERP system for financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Sage ERP is essential.
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, budgeting, and financial reporting .
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to various sites and mines as required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills .
