As a Senior Group Accountant, you will play a vital role in financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and audit preparation. You will manage high-volume transactions while working closely with the Group Financial Manager.As a Senior Group Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and review monthly management accountants and financial statements
- Handle VAT filing, income tax returns, and SARS compliance
- Conduct bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
- Assist with audit preparations and financial compliance
- Work with multiple active companies, performing basic financial consolidations
- Manage high-volume transactions
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance financial controls
What Do You Need?:
- Accounting degree (CA(SA) preferred but not required)
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong Excel skills, Xero and SAGE experience is beneficial but not required
