Our client is looking for a highly skilled Distribution Services Manager to oversee end-to-end distribution operations, ensuring seamless product delivery while optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with internal teams, third-party logistics providers, and key stakeholders to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement distribution strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and meet customer service expectations.
- Oversee warehouse and transportation operations , ensuring smooth product flow from manufacturing sites to distribution centers and final customers.
- Manage and optimize relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and transport partners.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements related to distribution and logistics.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs, delivery performance, and cost metrics , implementing improvement initiatives where necessary.
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to align distribution activities with business objectives.
- Drive the implementation of new technologies and automation in distribution processes.
- Lead and develop a high-performing distribution team , fostering a culture of continuous improvement .
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
- Strong expertise in warehouse management, transportation, and distribution operations .
- Proven ability to manage 3PL partnerships and drive cost-effective logistics solutions .
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- Proficiency in SAP, WMS, and other supply chain management systems .
- Fluency in English ; additional languages are a plus.
