As Head of Finance you will be responsible for:
- Management and Development of Finance & Payroll function to deliver a high performing team.
- Annual Budgets and Quarterly Re-forecasts for review and sign off with Finance Director.
- Preparation and Presentation of Monthly Management Accounts for the business.
- Oversee and Manage Cashflow to ensure that this is in line with business requirements.
- Oversee and Manage investment to ensure that this is in line with both CAPEX processes and commitments.
- Oversee and Manage compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations and submissions.
- Implement and update financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all company financial policies are up to date and in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
- Create and Maintain relationships with external stakeholders of the business.
- Effective management of the performance of the Finance & Estates team to ensure that the team is a high performing team.
- Effectively manage employee engagement within the team.
- Motivation of the Finance & Payroll team to ensure they constantly add value to business.
- Provide overall Commercial Support to business.
- Maintaining a high working environment
- Overseeing the maintenance across all SA sites, ensuring that all SLA’s are met.
- Managing the relationship with the Landlords for all SA properties as well as lease negotiations.
- Manage Planned Maintenance; and routine or reactive maintenance / security of limited complexity in assigned buildings.
- Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, technology etc
- Compliance with all statutory, health & safety, security and relevant company policies.
- BCom (honours) or equivalent qualification is required.
- CA (SA) or equivalent qualification is required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Previous experience of working in a fast paced, cross-functional group environment.
