IT Cloud Systems Administrator & Support Technician (Intermediate)

Our client is looking for an Intermediate Cloud Systems Administrator & Support Technician to join their dynamic IT team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced Microsoft tools, manage cloud environments, and enhance network security. You’ll be involved in supporting cloud infrastructures, handling end-user requests, and working with security systems. The role also offers exposure to cybersecurity and virtual infrastructure deployment in the cloud. If you have experience with Mimecast, FortiGate, Linux, Windows Server, or security tools, this role is a great opportunity to grow. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Azure Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Intune environments.
• Support and maintain cloud network infrastructure and security.
• Implement and manage cloud security policies and solutions.
• Monitor and maintain security systems, including Mimecast and Defender for Endpoint.
• Provide support for Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Assist with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS).
• Support SharePoint site administration and user access.
• Configure and monitor Windows Defender for Cloud and endpoint security.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security and compliance.
• Provide internal IT user support for both cloud and on-premises systems.

Required Experience:

• Practical experience with Azure Active Directory (AD).
• Experience with Windows Server.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking and security.

Beneficial Skills:

• Experience with Mimecast, FortiGate, and Fortinet.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS).
• Experience with Jira and SharePoint.
• Basic understanding of Windows Defender for Cloud and endpoint security.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Endpoint.
• Proficiency in KQL (Kusto Query Language).

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
