As logistics Manager you will be responsible for:
- Manage the entire logistics process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring the safe handling of sensitive products.
- Oversee the storage and distribution operations to maintain product integrity and compliance with industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Implement and oversee safety protocols to protect products from contamination and damage.
- Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize technology and innovative practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including metrics on delivery times, costs, and inventory levels.
- Analyse data to identify trends and make informed decisions to optimize logistics operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
