Are you an experienced finance professional passionate about conservation and making an impact? We are looking for a Project Officer: Accounts & Grant Management to join this dynamic team! Key Responsibilities:
Assist in establishing and monitoring office budgets and sub-awarded partner grants. Manage quarterly and monthly financial planning and budget advance cycles. Conduct continuous and mandatory financial reviews in line with program rules and policies. Validate project report balances on a monthly basis. Monitor payments and financial reports for grant agreements. Prepare and consolidate financial reports and cash flow projections. Oversee and monitor partner contracts. Assist in responding to audit requests and financial data queries. Serve as the main financial point of contact for program-related financial matters. Establish and maintain a Fixed Assets register.Requirements:
Qualification: Financial/Accounting degree or diploma
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Accountant Proficiency in financial management and reporting within project cycle management Experience managing US government donor-funded and/or multi-partner project budgets (advantageous) Familiarity with financial packages (NetSuite experience is a plus)Key Competencies:
