Description:
SERVICE & PARTS CONTROLLER - JOHANNESBURG - ONE YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT The main purpose of the role:To assist customers and technical staff by coordinating services and assisting with on-site repairs, interacting with customers by providing feedback on current jobs, following up on open quotations, outstanding orders and scheduling of repairs or services. Also required to make courtesy calls after breakdown or services.
Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
- Maintained an excellent relationship between the customer and the company
- Providing customers with quotations on technical services and parts and follow-up on quotations
- Process received customer orders and order confirmations
- Provide feedback on ETA’s for ordered parts
- Explore and resolve any discrepancies within service job returns
- Process parts for returns to Germany (warranty/exchange)
- Effectively and efficiently planning engineers’ schedules, and accountable for the geographical area covered
- Ensuring planned maintenance is arranged efficiently
- Schedule work to be done accordingly and effectively maintaining job queues
- Arrange travel and accommodation for Technicians when required.
- Supporting the Service Management/Supervisory team
- Provide afterhours support when on duty
- Matric
- Relevant certificate/degree or similar qualification
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
- High level of experience working on scheduling systems as well as SAP and Microsoft packages
