CORE PURPOSE OF JOBIs to create, develop and facilitate the acquisition of musical knowledge and skills by individuals in order that they can function effectively within the music profession and as productive members of the broader society.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS- To teach piano on various levels at undergraduate and post graduate level.
- To provide and coordinate accompaniment for the departments students and staff.
- To conduct and publish research and/or produce appropriate performances and creative outputs.
- To facilitate community engagement.
- To serve as a collaborative pianist for student, guest, and faculty recitals.
- To contribute to the development of piano studio recruitment.
- To supervise post graduate students.

In order to be considered for appointment to this post at lecturer level, candidates should have a relevant Masters degree and 2 years relevant and/or related work experience. Supervision experience and/or DMus or PhD will be beneficial.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to conduct an audition and/or demonstration lesson/lecture.
