Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Technical Manager to join our team. The Technical Manager will oversee the technical operations of the company, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and according to the established timeline. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to ensure that our technical solutions meet the needs and expectations of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with Fresh Fruit Farm Growers with fruit procurement, farm visits, specifications and audits.
- Attend to factory maintenance and breakdowns on all equipment / machinery in/for the factory.
- Maintenance Schedules and Plans, with budgets.
- Boiler maintenance / management.
- Water treatment and pest control management.
- Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring that all team members are working effectively and efficiently
- Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve business goals
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure that technical solutions align with company objectives
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of technical projects
- Monitor and evaluate technical performance and provide regular reports to senior management
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in order to make informed decisions about technical solutions
- Identify areas for improvement and implement new processes or technologies to enhance technical operations
It is important to be able to work as part of the food safety management team.
Qualifications:
- 3 year experience in similar field, HAACP, Food Safety certificates. (FSSC / BRC)
- 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and lead a team effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Experience with [specific technologies or software relevant to the company]
