Hire Resolve is seeking a determined and drive Q&A Credit Manager to join their clients esteemed financial services team in Pretoria.Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enforce credit risk policies and procedures.
• Assess and monitor customer creditworthiness, setting appropriate credit limits.
• Manage credit control processes, including credit vetting, account approvals, and risk assessment.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Monitor and report on age analysis, ensuring adherence to company credit policies.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reports for senior management.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and legal teams.
• Supervise and mentor a team of QA Agents, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Audit all documents provided by consumers that are linked to the credit or subscription applications.
• Meet SLA targets between departments.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of credit control, Quality Assurance, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail is critical in this role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage teams and work under pressure.
• Willingness to work long hours when required.
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven track record of leadership skills
• Matric
• Degree in finance or Credit Risk Management.
• 5–7 years’ experience in corporate credit risk management.
• Min 5-8 years Credit vetting experience in the financial industry of which at least 3 – 5 years are
within a managerial role
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills regarding Vetting on Credit Applications.
• Strong Analytical Skills – Ability to assess financial risks, analyses credit data, and make sound
decisions.
• Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in credit assessments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Leadership & Team Management – Capable of mentoring, motivating, and managing a high-
performing credit control team.
• Decision-Making Ability – Confident in making strategic credit risk decisions under pressure.
• Problem-Solving Mindset – Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Integrity & Professionalism – Committed to ethical financial practices and compliance with company
policies.
