This company is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded Financial Operations Consultant to oversee and execute day-to-day financial operations within the group. This role is integral to driving financial efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth through strategic financial insights.Key Responsibilities:
- Developing Financial Strategies: Identify opportunities to enhance financial performance, create financial models and forecasts, and analyze financial data to drive business growth.
- Managing Financial Systems: Oversee and maintain financial management tools, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensuring Compliance & Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit and market risks, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Leading Operational Teams: Provide leadership, coaching, and support to drive team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Business Development: Assist in expanding the business division while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- CA(SA) or Finance qualification
- 2-3 years post-articles experience (for CAs) OR 5 years of relevant finance experience (non-CA candidates)
- Previous experience in ⪠Telecommunications ⪠Property ⪠Manufacturing ⪠IT Services ⪠Industrial will be an advantage.
- Highly responsive with strong agility in decision-making
- Ability to present financial reports to clients effectively
- Strong communication skills across all levels
- Proactive and action-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Capability to identify and capitalize on key business opportunities
- Proven ability to drive operational efficiencies and innovation
