A well-established design and build construction company is looking for an experienced Foreman to join their team.
Job Description
As a Foreman, you will report directly to the Site Agent or General Foreman and be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret and implement construction drawings and specifications accurately.
Manage and organize the latest project documents, ensuring outdated versions are discarded.
Plan daily site activities and allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Set out and maintain gridlines, benchmarks, and datum lines.
Conduct daily inspections to ensure work adheres to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Enforce cleanliness, good housekeeping, and site safety regulations.
Complete and submit Q.A. checklists daily.
Address Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) promptly.
Approve daily labor allocations and manage workforce productivity.
Minimize material wastage and ensure cost-effective site management.
Coordinate subcontractor activities, preventing sequencing conflicts and trade overlaps.
Ensure welfare and safety compliance for all site personnel.
Monitor and maintain construction equipment, reporting any breakdowns or work stoppages.
Ensure work areas are properly completed, cleaned, and secured before leaving the site.
Authority & Accountability
You will have full authority to carry out your responsibilities within the scope of project requirements, ensuring smooth and efficient site operations. Additional tasks may be assigned within reasonable expectations for the role.
