This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in financial strategy, reporting, and compliance, ensuring operational excellence within a multi-entity environment. What You’ll Do:â Financial Management & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all subsidiaries.
- Perform variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Oversee multi-currency financial management and intercompany reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT laws, and SARS regulations .
- Monitor and manage corporate tax, PAYE, and financial reporting standards .
- Lead year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
- Identify areas for cost efficiency and process improvement .
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance finance team .
- Ensure strong internal financial controls and best practices .
What We’re Looking For:
ð Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field .
- CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in accounting or finance , with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role .
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, VAT, and tax compliance .
- Experience with multi-entity or group consolidations .
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, SAP, Pastel) and advanced Excel skills .
- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms (Xero, SimplePay, Dext, Syft).
- Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs or Caseware Working Papers .
