Our client in Parow is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal sales, preferably in a B2B environment, with a background in industrial fabric distribution or a similar industry being highly beneficial. The role requires strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multitask under pressure, and maintain a customer-focused, positive attitude. REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in internal sales, preferably in a B2B environment, with experience in industrial fabric distribution or a similar industry being highly beneficial
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with strong conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a customer-focused mindset and positive attitude
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to change
  • Team player with a collaborative approach

DUTIES:

Customer Service:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing prompt and accurate information.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.

Sales Support:
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the company’s order management system.
  • Assist in preparing quotes, sales proposals, and product recommendations.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.

Order Management:
  • Monitor order status and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track inventory levels and inform customers of availability.

Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve company sales goals.
  • Provide insights and feedback to improve processes and customer experiences.

Administrative Duties:
  • Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to management.

HOURS:
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 – 17:00
  • Friday: 8:30 – 16:00
