Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and take ownership of the balance sheet and profit & loss (P&L) statements.
  • Oversee tax matters, including monthly VAT returns and corporate tax, and act as the main point of contact with tax authorities.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain a Manual of Procedures, identifying key risks and recommending mitigation strategies to reduce exposure.
  • Analyse financial performance trends and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Group finance and company finance teams to review and forecast financial data.
  • Propose innovative solutions to reduce costs and enhance financial performance.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivables to ensure timely collections.
  • Oversee payroll processing and implement controls to ensure compliance and prevent errors or fraud.
  • Build and lead a team of finance and administration professionals to support the finance function effectively.

Skills & Work Experience:

  • Prior experience in auditing with a Big 4 firm.
  • 5-10 years of relevant finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll management.
  • Experience with SAP and SAGE ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong people and stakeholder management abilities.
