Our client is looking for a New Business Development Manager with 10 years experience in the mining industry to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development across the Eastern Limb, focusing on sales for cutting-edge mining technology solutions. This role requires a proactive, confident professional with strong communication skills and a passion for mining optimisation.
Responsibilities:

Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.

Present and promote products to potential clients confidently.

Drive new business development for all products across the Eastern Limb.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the mining industry.

Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director and provide regular updates.

Frequent travel within the Steelpoort and Burgersfort regions.
-
Occasionally report to head office in Hartbeespoort (not often).
Requirements:

Over 10 years of experience in the mining industry.

More than 5 years of experience in new business development, with a focus on lead generation.

Proven experience in technology and/or equipment sales for both surface and underground mining operations, with an emphasis on mining rather than processing.

Strong network and experience in the Eastern Limb region are essential.

Passion for electronics, networks, mining technology, data analytics, and optimisation.

Proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Must reside in or be willing to travel frequently to Burgersfort & Steelpoort.
