Description:
Fully accountable for developing and implementing the company's entire IT strategy, ensuring sustainable optimal performance and stability of all IT systems, infrastructure, hard and software procurement and development, supplier relationships and the effective management of the IT teams.
Please note: this is a full time in-office position.
KEY PERFORMANCE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develops, and executes a company IT Strategy that is fully aligned with company goals, objectives, and expectations.
- Effective implementation and management of the Company’s IT systems, software and technology needs to ensure effective technology and optimal systems delivery and stability.
- Set company goals and objectives with clear performance measures and communicate to ensure the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Staying abreast of and communicating to leadership on emerging technologies that can improve business performance and increase company profits.
- Develops and manages IT infrastructure, systems and cyber security protocols to ensure the company's IT is not compromised, hacked or attacked.
- Leading and managing IT personnel to function at optimal performance.
- Creating, maintaining and effectively implementing IT policies, SLAs, protocols, SOPs and standards.
- Developing, gaining approval for, and managing within IT budgets and expenditure that achieves IT strategies and objectives.
- Accountability for managing all contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors and service providers.
- Monitors and manages internal and external service delivery levels.

Matric (Grade 12) - essential
Degree in Computer Science or similar or related field (NQF6+) - essential
Experience:
5 years experience with medium to large company IT infrastructure strategic leadership - essential
3 years experience working with IT department teams - essential
3 years experience of computer literacy at an advanced level - essential
