Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Code 10 PDP Driver to join our team in Cape Town Epping Area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate delivery vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Ensure all cargo is properly loaded, secured, and delivered in a timely manner
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery notes
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a professional and courteous manner
- Report any accidents, incidents, or traffic violations to management immediately
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid Code 10 driver's license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
