Revit MEP Draughtsman

Description:

A consulting engineering firm in Centurion is seeking the services of a Revit MEP Draughtsman.

• We are currently seeking a skilled

Revit MEP Draughtsman to join our dynamic team and help us deliver top-tier MEP designs for our growing project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed MEP drawings using Revit for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
• Develop and coordinate MEP BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with Engineers and design teams to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs.
• Review and modify drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.
• Prepare construction documents, including schematics, layouts, and detailed system designs for MEP systems.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all designs adhere to the required standards and guidelines.
• Support the engineering team with the preparation of reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (structural, architectural, etc.) to ensure effective collaboration and integration across the project.
• Assist with the development of project specifications and ensure all design work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Revit MEP Draughtsman with hands-on experience in designing MEP systems using Revit.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing designs.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with a solid understanding of BIM processes and workflows.
• Experience with other design and drafting tools is a plus (e.g., Navisworks, AutoCAD MEP).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and model creation.
• Knowledge of MEP industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with engineers and architects.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
