About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide (FGASA Level 2 / NQF4) to join our luxury safari lodge team. If you have a deep love for the wilderness, exceptional guiding skills, and enjoy creating unforgettable guest experiences, this is the perfect opportunity.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided game drives and walking safaris, offering insightful and engaging experiences.
- Interpret the natural environment, wildlife behavior, and conservation efforts to guests.
- Ensure guest safety and satisfaction while providing a top-tier safari experience.
- Maintain and adhere to lodge and FGASA guiding standards.
- Assist in conservation and lodge activities as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- FGASA Field Guide (NQF4) Certification
- DEAT/LEDET/THETA Registered (or ability to register)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Minimum one year guiding experience in a Big Five reserve preferred
- Excellent communication and guest relations skills
- Passion for conservation and wildlife education
