Stock Contoller

Description:

We are seeking a stock controller to join our team in Johannesburg, the ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of stock levels within the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in maintaining proper inventory levels. This role involves monitoring stock movements, conducting regular stock takes, reconciling discrepancies, and overseeing the organization of stock within the warehouse or storage areas. The Stock Controller will work closely with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including tracking stock movements and conducting regular stock takes
- Reconcile discrepancies in stock levels and investigate root causes of variances
- Monitor stock consumptions and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to stock availability
- Organize and manage storage areas to ensure efficient use of space and easy access to stock
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and reduce wastage
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and operations, to coordinate stock management activities and support business operations
- Produce reports on stock levels, trends, and variances for management review
- Participate in regular stock audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications :
- Previous experience in stock control or inventory management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in stock management
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items

Salary Package:
