Description:
Manage and co-ordinate all electrical maintenance and installations on surface and underground. Qualifications and experience:- Grade 12/N4
- Electrical Trade Test Section 26D or 13
- Foreman Certificate will be advantageous.
- Winder Experience required.
- Knowledge of working on PLC’s will be advantageous.
- Competent B certificate
- 5 Years and above as Electrical Foreman with Winder Experience
- Good general health AND a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket)
- Meet production targets, reduce costs & manage performance of direct production staff.
- Process monitoring, control, optimisation and manage process recipe.
- Effective supervision of subordinates (Attendance & Wellness)
- Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and ensure compliance. Will hold 2.9.2 appointment.
- Must have proven knowledge and experience on winders and chairlifts
- Ensure adherence to electrical standards and Procedures.
- Coordinate and monitor equipment availability and ensure continuous effective communication with relevant stakeholders to minimise production delays.
- Identify key performance shortfalls, gaps, and critical improvement areas.
- Coordinate training and development of team members.
- Sound planning (time management), and organisational abilities.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.
- Good customer and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function on your own and within a team.
- Independent, self-motivated, proactive thinking
- Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal) and one other official language
