Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction: Welcome and greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease. Appointment Management: Answer landline and mobile calls, schedule consultations for vets and vet nurses, and take accurate messages when needed. Payment Processing: Handle payments via credit card, Zapper, and cash, and complete end-of-shift cashing up. Retail & Product Assistance: Assist clients with food sales and over-the-counter products (full training provided). Stock Control: Restock shelves and notify admin of items that need ordering. Administrative Support:Assist clients with pet insurance claim forms and collect samples for external labs. Follow up on insurance claims and lab results as needed. Register pet microchip numbers. Validate discount vouchers and promotional puppy/kitten packs. Manage dispensed medication handovers (excluding scheduled medication handling). Send timely vaccination reminders to pet owners. Receive and check supplier deliveries. Keep clients informed about their pets status if hospitalized. Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception area. Assist with additional duties as requested by management.
What Were Looking For:
A positive and professional attitude with excellent communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. A love for animals and a compassionate approach to pet owners. Previous experience in reception or administration (advantageous but not essential). Veterinary experience (advantageous but not essential). Computer literacy and proficiency in administrative software. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Working Hours:7:45 - 13:00 - Mon - Friday
7:45 - 12:30 - Alternative Saturdays
