A well-established company is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their team in Centurion. This role requires strong accounting expertise with the whole accounting function. Requirements:- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, Sage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Analysing financial data, cost control, detecting and mitigating risks, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reporting financial analysis, compliance and tax audits, determining profitability, liquidity, and solvency.
- Manage financial records and ensure accuracy of accounting data
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Handle VAT calculations and submissions
- Oversee reconciliations, bookkeeping, and cash flow management
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
