Our client, Our client, an entrepreneurial, current and purpose-driven company is taking the Enterprise and Supplier Development space by storm. This is a collaborative and supportive team that values innovation and growth are looking for a Business Development Lead to join them.
This is a remote role, but you must be based in Johannesburg and be willing to participate in occasional in-person workdays to build team morale and culture. Your role will be to sell Enterprise and Supplier Development Programs to corporates in all sectors who have a keen focus on Enterprise and Supplier Development.
The top 3 outcomes of this role are:
· Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, securing long-term revenue-generating relationships.
· Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent new client acquisition.
· Position the company as a leader in the Enterprise and Supplier Development space by securing high-profile corporate partnerships
Key responsibilities include Sales Revenue and Growth, Client Relationship Management, Sales Pipeline Management, proposals and presentations, refining the UVP, collaboration and reporting as well as Networking and establishing Market Presence.

· A bachelor’s degree or similar level of qualifications in procurement, business administration, supply chain or the like is not negotiable.
· 5 years senior sales experience with a proved track record of exceeding targets, especially in corporate sales. Proof will be required.
· It would be advantageous to have some experience with enterprise and supplier development programmes or similar services related to corporate BEE requirements
· Capable of managing long and complex sales cycles effectively
· Own transport suitable for client visits
